Distance Reiki Sound Healing Sessions
What is Sound Healing?
In short, it’s a practice that uses vibrations (vocal or instrumental-like gongs, Crystal & metal singing bowls, and tuning forks), in order to relax your mind and body. Some proponents also believe it can relieve certain ailments, including anxiety and insomnia.
What Can Sound Healing Do For The Body?
Sound therapy/sound healing can help you clear energetic blockages and thus facilitate healing on a physical and mental level. Some of the benefits include alleviation of emotional/mental blockages that have created problems in the physical tissue.
Also Called Music Therapy
Evidence suggests that music therapy is beneficial for all individuals, both physically and mentally. Benefits of music therapy include improved heart rate, reduced anxiety and depression, stimulation of the brain, and improved learning.
Music therapists use their techniques to help their patients in many areas, ranging from stress relief before and after surgeries, to neuropathologies such as Alzheimer's disease. One study found that children who listened to music while having an IV inserted into their arms showed less distress and felt less pain than the children who did not listen to music while having an IV inserted.
Studies on patients diagnosed with mental disorders such as anxiety, depression, and schizophrenia have shown a visible improvement in their mental health after music therapy.
Singing Bowls
Sound therapy/sound healing has become far more popular and widespread in the western world over the last few decades. There are in fact medical grade singing bowls, sound baths, tuning forks, etc. All are designed to vibrate/resonate through the various layers of the body: physical, mental, emotional, etheric, etc.
Invisible Waves
In western society we have been taught to only believe in that which we can see. However, if we’re really being honest, we cannot see cell phone waves, radiation waves, sound waves, etc. Although, there is no disputing that our cell phones connect to towers, that our microwaves heat food, and our voices carry sound, without any visible waves. That does not mean that they are not present within the space, simply because they are unseen. In many cases, especially to sensitive people, they can also be felt.
What to Expect? (Video)
You will lay on the table and I will perform Reiki Energetic healing on you, with the addition of sound healing. Using a combination of four different singing bowls, I will play the sounds through your field. I often place the two crystal singing bowls directly on your body; which lets the sound vibrations radiate through all your bodies/aura. I also play binaural beats, which work at a neurological level to relax and heal the body.
What to Expect From a Reiki Sound Healing?
You may experience vibrations/various sensations in your body, such as: heat, pulsing, vibrations, or as if things are moving inside your body, trembles, or even the flow of healing energy passing through your bodies. You may feel: tired/sleepy during or after your session, an extreme feeling of relaxation and calm, the need to cry and release pent up emotions, that you have been holding unnecessarily, or you may feel great joy and happiness. Each session is unique. Everyone experiences something different; even the same person during separate individual sessions, will have a different experience. The best way to describe is that, like WIFI, I get myself 'on-line', then proceed to get YOU 'on-line'. I am merely the conduit/tube through which the healing energy flows. Whatever needs to come through for YOU on that day, will be 'downloaded'. Reiki can heal on a physical, emotional and mental level. More significant injuries/issues, whether physical or emotional, will take more than simply one session to address.
